Halfway There – 21/07/11 – 2:25 PM – Oahu > Bay Area

How I view things currently compared to back then. Still a kid with big dreams and I love to play pretend. As an adult happiness based on results take precedence. Scheduled start to finish, but I’m finished with what I’ve started before I even begin. From forcing meaning out of everything but now I’m more akin, to accepting things for what they are, it is what it is. No longer a child oblivious of what’s to come, nor elderly enough to only reflect on what I’ve done. I’m not where I want be be just yet.

Progress without success was once what I couldn’t comprehend. Self preserved and solely focused on making amends. Remotely interested, I refused to tune in, to what’s out of control no I’m not settling in. From the health of the Earth, universal movements, countrywide conflicts, statewide restrictions, the city I live in, tragedies that may befall my family and friends, it starts with how I can get right in the interim. No longer a child oblivious of what’s to come, nor elderly enough to only reflect on what I’ve done. But I know I’m halfway there.
